Positions Details:
Full-time writers are the backbone of our storytelling team, creating 4 to 5 exciting mods that keep our world alive and thriving! As the most consistent members of the team, you’ll be at the heart of the action, making sure the narrative flows smoothly and connects in all the right ways. You'll have the creative freedom to craft amazing content. There il be collaborative sessions that will allow you to work closely with other writers, the Experience Design Director, and the Story Lead to ensure everything comes together seamlessly. It’s all about teamwork, communication, and ensuring the story remains dynamic and exciting for everyone involved!
Part-time writers are an essential part of our team, creating 1 to 3 awesome mods that help bring our world to life! While you’ll have a bit more flexibility in your schedule, your contributions are still incredibly valuable in shaping the story and adding those exciting twists and turns. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with fellow writers, the Experience Design Director, and the Story Lead, making sure your mods fit seamlessly into the larger narrative. It’s a perfect balance of creativity and flexibility, where you get to make a big impact without a full-time commitment. Your unique perspective and ideas are what will help make our world even richer, and we’re excited to see what you bring to the table!
Interested in writing but don't have experience yet or a little anxious about getting started? No worries—we’ve got you covered! We’re excited to offer training and support to help you grow as a writer, and you’ll have plenty of people to guide you along the way. Whether you're interested in crafting a few mods or diving into more, we’ll make sure you have all the tools you need to succeed. You’ll have the chance to learn from experienced writers, collaborate with the Experience Design Director and the Story Lead, and be part of a supportive, creative team. With our guidance and your passion, you’ll be writing captivating mods in no time, and we’ll be right there to help you every step of the way!
Responsibility & Self Care
We totally understand that being a writer can be demanding at times, and we’re committed to supporting your mental health and self-care. To ensure we can show up fully for our players, we ask full-time writers to attend at least nine events per year. We want to make sure everyone has the flexibility they need, so if something comes up, just let us know! We’re all about open communication, and we know that real life always comes first. We're here to work with you, so feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions or need to discuss your availability. We want you to be at your best, both in life and in writing!
